應用奧西專利的VariaDot技術，圖像細節要比恒定大小墨滴的輸出設備更加細膩平滑。Océ Arizona2200系列UV印表機可以控制到最小6pl的墨滴大小，可以使圖像表現更加銳利清晰，灰階更加平滑，過渡更加均勻自然。當應用到最大42pl大小的墨滴時，可以迅速覆蓋深色部分，從而提高列印速度，並且使得深色部分更加堅實。Océ VariaDot專利成像技術可以實現照片級別的輸出品質，解析度堪比1,440dpi甚至更高。
